December tuition
is due at your first lesson of the month. The envelope for tuition is hanging on the bulletin board (above the printer) when you enter the studio. Consult your monthly invoice for the exact amount.
December Schedule

Group Class (Caroling Rehearsal)
Group Classes will meet on Friday, December 13th in the Choir Room at Saint Francis UMC. 2965 Kildaire Farm Rd. Cary, 27518.
We will play through all of the carols to be performed the next day at Phoenix Assisted Care. Even if you are not able to join us for the community outreach, come play carols with us, "ornament" your violin, and enjoy an end of semester party!
Consult the year start up letter for the times you should arrive. OR log in to your MMS account where your group times are listed in the event on the calendar.
Community Outreach Concert
On Dec. 14 @ 4:30 pm, we will share Christmas Carols with the community at Phoenix Assisted Care. Plan to arrive between 4:10 and 4:20. Phoenix Assisted Care is located at 201 Westhigh St, Cary, NC 27513. Parking is limited. You can park around the side of the building or along Westhigh street.

Listening to them will help your child learn them quickly by ear. These tunes should be part of your listening rotation. Keep it going until we perform!
You need to REGISTER for this event. Log in to your MMS account, go to the calendar and click on the Dec 14 event, Click on the "Register" link and you will be added to the attendance for this event. Thank you for letting me know that you will be there so I can have the appropriate space determined ahead of time.
"12 Days of Practice" Challenge
Over the break, plan to participate in our studio-wide practice challenge. I will have a charts to hand out in lesson Dec 9-12. Practicing begins on Friday, December 13!
Successful participants will earn a special holiday practice reward and be recognized at our January group class. This practice challenge can be layered on top of your 100 days of practice plan, if you are currently working on that.
Parents, use this studio challenge as motivation and leverage as we traverse a few weeks of no lessons. Holidays can be oh, too easy to just ignore the violin. Remember: 5 min with joy is all you need to expect! Often that 5 minutes turns in to 15 or 20. And some days, 5 is just right. ☺
